Desperately so. Do we need a project that will cost billions of dollars and not perform well? Oh, hell no. I know we all dream of space. From Star Trek to Star Wars and Avatar. our population is growing and soon the planet will not support the shear amount of life we are populating it with. Let's get serious about the problem people, it will soon be a life and death proposition for us all, whether we believe or not.
